Memberships

Membership for a Faculty or Staff Member

There is no fee for UNA Staff/Faculty to use UNARec facilities, equipment, programs, or services.

Passes

Membership for Spouse of a Full-Time Student

    • The spouse of an Alumnus of the »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵ may purchase a membership to the Student Recreation Center for a fee of $60.00 per semester.
    • The Student Recreation Center does not accept electronic payments.
    • In order for the spouse of an Alumnus to be eligible, the Alumnus must be the holder of a full membership to the Student Recreation Center.
    • No dependents are allowed use of the Student Recreation Center.
    • This membership must be purchased directly from the Administrative Offices located on the 2nd floor of the Student Recreation Center.
    • All memberships are on a per semester basis and are non-refundable.
    • Memberships are for use of the Student Recreation Center only and does not allow for participation in any Intramural or Club Sports activity.

The Recreational Sports and Fitness Program reserves the right to revoke memberships to the Student Recreation Center at any time.

Guest Pass

Guest Passes allow access to the Student Recreation Center but do not grant participation in Intramural or Club Sports activities.

Policies

    • Cost: $5.00 per day.
    • Eligibility: The following individuals may purchase a Guest Pass and will be referred to as the "Host":
    • 1. Faculty/Staff of UNA
    • 2. Currently enrolled at the »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵ
    • Waiver: Guests must complete an oline Waiver Form before using the Student Recreation Center
    • Accompaniment: Guests must be accompanied by their Host at all times while using the facility.

Guest Passes are not required for reserved events.

UNA Recreation reserves the right to revoke a Guest Pass at any time.

Other Services

Equipment Checkout

The following equipment can be checked out for use in the Student Recreation Center only:

    • Basketballs: Men‘s and Women‘s
    • Volleyballs
    • Badminton Racquets

To check any of the above equipment out, just bring your valid MANE Card or Membership Card to the Member Services Desk on the 2nd floor of the Student Recreation Center.

You may also purchase the following:

    • Badminton Shuttlecocks

Note:

    • Any equipment returned damaged will result in a replacement cost fee.
    • Any balls that are lost in the ceiling will result in a reclamation fee.

The following equipment can be checked out for use outside of the Student Recreation Center:

    • Tug of War Rope

Locker Service Information

  • Use of any photographic device in the Locker Rooms is strictly prohibited.
  • Certain lockers are designated as Day Lockers only.
  • The Locker Room must be vacated by closing time.
  • UNA Recreation is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen items.

Day Lockers

  • No overnight storage of items is permitted.
  • Private locks are allowed.
  • For safety reasons, locks left on Day Lockers overnight may be removed and/or cut off and the contents of the locker impounded. If an individual is found to have violated this policy three times in a twelve month period, your privileges to the Student Recreation Center will be suspended.
  • Any individual, who has had their contents impounded, will have 30 days to claim their items. At the end of the 30 days, the contents will be donated to charity.

Locker Check Out

  • Any individual who holds a membership to the Student Recreation Center may check out a locker for six or twelve months.
  • Combination locks are provided by the Student Recreation Center and are the only locks approved for use on these lockers. If you would like to check out a locker, please visit the Member Services Desk located on the second floor of the Student Recreation Center.
  • If an individual who has checked out a locker uses a private lock, that lock is subject to being removed and/or cut off and the contents of the locker impounded.
  • Any individual, who has had their contents impounded, will have 30 days to claim their item. At the end of the 30 days, the contents will be donated to charity.

General Towel Service

  • The Student Recreation Center does not offer general towel service, however, members may bring their own.
  • The Recreational Sports and Fitness program and the Student Recreation Center are not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen towels.

Fitness Center Towel Service

    • Personal workout towels are not provided, however, you may bring your own.
    • It is mandatory that each person wipe off equipment after use with provided spray and wiping towel.
